Annual OAP Christmas Lunch 2021

This year Clayton-le-Woods Parish Council hosted the annual pensioner lunch over two days at the Ley Inn Pub. By all accounts it was thoroughly enjoyed by the 90+ residents who attended. We want to thank the Ley Inn for their service, to Manor Road and Clayton-le-Woods CE Primary schools for coming along and singing Christmas themed songs to the pensioners and to the Chairman Cllr Peter Gabbott and the Vice Chairman Cllr Mark Clifford for representing the Parish Council. A special thank you goes out to Councillor Sheila Edwards-Williams who organised the raffle, made up some fantastic hampers and assisted the Clerk at the meal on the Monday. The Parish Council wish to thank The Dog Inn Pub for their generous donation of £250.00 which helped to pay for the event.

Thanks to eveyone who attended. We look forward to holding the lunch in 2022. We wish you all the very best over this Christmas Season.
