Weekly Volunteer Community Litter Pick

Happy New Year!

Yesterday we braved the cold and donned our high-vis jackets for our weekly Litter Pick. This week we met at The Woodsman pub and collected lots of litter around the A49, Pendle Road and the Cunnery Meadow Play Area.

We were joined by Judith Seed, Alison Whitham, Lilian Oldham, Jim Oldham, John Mulligan, Christine Vaughan-Evans, Julie Stewart, Liz Howarth, Tracy Morris, Louisa Gallagher, Cllr Neville Whitham, Cllr Steve Maddock and Cllr Mark Clifford.

It was a great turn out yesterday and thanks to everyone who came and helped to clear 13 bags of litter!

Our next litter pick is next week on Tuesday 18th January 2022 at Clayton Brook Village Centre Great Greens Lane, Clayton Brook PR5 8HL. We are meeting at 1pm and equipment is provided.

Once again, many thanks for everyone who has volunteered to help keep our village free of litter.
