Remember to get your entries in for the Clayton-le-Woods Scarecrow Festival 2022 by Friday 16th September 2022. The Scarecrow Festival is taking place Sunday 25th September-Sunday 2nd October 2022.

There are 6 categories this year including:

Business or Organisation (e.g. shops, supermarkets, community groups, churches etc.)

Education or Uniformed Groups (e.g. schools, nurseries, brownies etc.)

Families

Individuals16 years and over

Children under 16 years (majority of the work must have been done by the child/children)

Best Street

The winner of each category gets £40 and the runner up £20 and there is a grand prize of £100!!! for Best Overall Scarecrow and even a prize of £30 for Best Selfie with a Scarecrow!

This is a great event for the community and a map of all entries will be published closer to the event so you can visit all the entries.
