The Clayton Cup is back!

Tonight the Clayton Cup returns for the first time since COVID-19 at Clayton Green Leisure Centre.

Will Whittle le Woods retain their title won in 2019?  We'll see tonight!

This year we have 6 schools competing for the Clayton Cup by taking part is several events including netball, cricket, hockey, football and an obstacle race.  If there is a tie the score is settled by a Tug Of War! 

The competition is fierce with all schools desperate to win the title!!  We can't wait to see the events tonight. A prize of Best Sportmanship will also be awarded to one of the schools.

The schools competing this year are St Bede's. Clayton le Woods C of E, Whittle le Woods, Clayton Brook, Manor Road and Lancaster Lane.  Unfortunately Westwood are unable to compete this year but we look forward to welcoming them back for the 2023 event!
