Clayton-le-Woods Community Bowling Green

SITUATED next to the Lay Inn on Back Lane, this bowling green was provided by the Parish Council eight years ago and last year, several improvements were made including floodlights and refurbishments to the Pavilion.

There is an active Bowling Club with five teams, entered into three different bowling leagues. New members are always welcome so if you are interested in joining, call Raymond Haworth on 01772 337409.

The bowling green is also available to residents to have a game of bowls on an ad-hoc basis. Please call the Lay Inn on 01772 330215 for details of costs and to book.
