Weekly Community Litter Pick

Another good haul of litter removed today on our weekly community litter pick. The wather wasn’t too bad for it either as the rain held off.

A big thank you goes out to our volunteers this week who were Alison Whitham, Martin Manley, Lilian Oldham, Jim Oldham, Tracy Morris, Cllr Steve Maddock and Cllr Mark Clifford.

Next Tuesday on 4th June we will be cleaning up around the War Memorial on Factory Lane/Preston Road in preparation of the D-Day Commemoration taking place on the 6th June. All equipment is provided by Chorley Council in collaboration with Clayton-le-Woods Parish Council. There is also the opportunity to earn tempo time credits. Everyone is welcome!
