Weekly Community Litter Pick

It was a great turnout for our weekly community litter pick today after our summer break.
It was a bit breezy but thankfully the rain stayed away. As usual lots of litter was removed from our environment.
A great big thank you to our volunteers this week who were Michelle Parkin, Liz Howarth, Judith Seed, Lilian Oldham, Jim Oldham, David Cook, Tracy Morris, Cllr Steve Maddock and Cllr Mark Clifford.
A great big thank you to the Streetscene Team at Chorley Council who quickly take all of our full litter bags away and the Clerk of Clayton-le-Woods Parish Council who loves to volunteer too and also runs the Tempo Time Credits for our volunteers.
A lot can be done with a great team around you.
Next week Tuesday 17th September 2024 between 1pm-2pm we will be litter picking in Clayton Brook. Meeting up at the car park in the village centre on Tunleyholme. We would love to see you there to make our environment even more beautiful!!
