Weekly Volunteer Community Litterpick

A massive thank you to our weekly litter picking volunteers yesterday who collected a huge amount of rubbish from Preston Road. Your volunteers this week (from left to right) were Cllr David Cook, Liz Howarth, Jean Elliott, Jim Oldham, Bob Elliott, Lilian Oldham, Cllr Irene Amahwe, Cllr Steve Maddock and Tracy Morris.

A big thank you too, to the Halfway House Pub for supplying free Tea and Coffee to refresh our volunteers after their hard work. Next week the volunteers are meeting in the car park in Clayton Brook village centre on Great Greens Lane on Tuesday 22nd April 2025 at 1pm-2pm. All are welcome and equipment is provided. We look forward to seeing you if you can spare an hour of your time.
